Summer Day Camp

Your kids will have a fun-filled summer with organized activities, arts & crafts, swimming, field trips and more! Camp is offered at a variety of locations throughout the City.

Session 1: June 14 - July 9
Session 2: July 12 - August 6
Days: Monday - Friday
Day Camp: from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm
Pixie Camp: from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm
Baseball Camp, Basketball Camp, Dance and Cheerleading Camp, Elite Soccer Academy Camp, Fishing Camp, Flag Football Camp, Journey Quest Camp, Karate Camp, Sailing Camp, Sea Escape Camp, Skateboard Camp, Sports Camp, Sunshine Explorers Camp, Teen Adventure Camp, Teen Water Works Camp

Summer Camp Registration

All summer camp registrations will be Mail-in Only (first come, first serve). The City will have summer camp applications available starting March 1, 2010. They will NOT be mailed out. Applications will be at all Community Centers, City Center and the City Library.

Applications MAY NOT be postmarked (put in the mail) prior to:
RESIDENTS: March 15, 2010
Mail post marked prior to March 15 will not be processed.
Am I a City Resident or Non- Resident?
If you pay your water bill to the City of West Palm Beach or live in an apartment or condominium that pays a water bill to the City of West Palm Beach, then you are a City of West Palm Beach Resident.

All other municipalities/counties are
NON-RESIDENTS: April 12, 2010
All others may live in neighboring municipalities or unincorporated Palm Beach County.
Mail post parked prior to April 12 2010 will not be processed.

Summer Camp Scholarship Program to Accept Applications for Summer 2010

The Summer Camp Scholarship Program provides a full scholarship, including all fees, for children to attend day camp during the summer. The program is available to families with incomes below 125% of Federal Poverty Guidelines. Eligible families may choose from over 100 participating camps.

As the focus of the program is "keeping kids safe all summer long," priority for scholarships is given to:

homeless children & foster care children living in group homes
children living with working parents & foster care children living in households with working foster parents
children living with disabled or elderly parents or guardians
children living with non-working parents

Applications will be taken EVERY WEDNESDAY from January 6 to February 24, 2010 at the following Palm Beach County Human Services locations, by appointment only:
