Hit Concert Series Gets a New Home for July’s “Journey” Tribute Show
Rock and roll fans, be sure to take a “Journey” to the Palm Beach Post Sunday at the Meyer this weekend! The ultimate Journey tribute band “Don’t Stop Believin’” will bring the magical music of the band “Journey” to life and rock South Florida’s best FREE concert series this Sunday, July 25, 2010, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Also this Sunday, the concert itself will take a journey: “Don’t Stop Believin’” will rock downtown West Palm Beach at the Palm Stage by Centennial Square’s Clematis Fountain on the new West Palm Beach waterfront, just a one-block walk from the Meyer Amphitheatre.
Unlike other Journey bands, “Don’t Stop Believin’” is a totally authentic. The band members dress the part, sound like the real thing and create the excitement of a real Journey concert. The group was formed in 2008 and is already considered one of the top tribute bands in the country.
Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and coolers, or they can also purchase food and beverages at the concert. Guests also get free Chick-fil-A brownies handed out by Mayor Lois Frankel. You’re welcome to travel to downtown by boat, docking free of charge at one of three new City docks along Flagler Drive. The event is one of the best bargains you can find in family entertainment: the show is free, parking in all City lots and at City meters is free and there are free kid’s activities! The Palm Beach Post Sunday at the Meyer is produced by the City of West Palm Beach, Mayor’s Office – Division of Community Events.
