Surveyor: conduct field surveys, establish benchmarks, obtain elevations and field notes on construction layouts and as-builts. They set property lines and survey stakes and points for contractors and other utility companies. They are often called upon to locate improvements within rights of way for use by various City Departments and for design purposes.
